Before establishing the CIEIP, our staff aimed to organize the student association of Azerbaijanis; however, later, we broadened our scope and established CIEIP. Nevertheless, there are still difficulties for students coming from Azerbaijan, especially in obtaining a visa, as there is no Belgian Consulate or consular agency in Azerbaijan. Moreover, freshmen usually have difficulties in the adaptation process and solving technical issues, such as finding accommodation, financial transactions, or traveling.
Thus, considering the possibility of the abovementioned problems, CIEIP has a branch called Azerbaijani Student Association (ASA). The main goal of the Azerbaijani Student Association (ASA) of the CIEIP is to help newcomers and support their adaptation process. As soon as our organization grows, members other than Azerbaijanis will be able to establish their respective student associations as well.
